Equipment Safety

Utilising any hydraulic equipment for tightening flanged joints requires that we pay attention not only to the high pressures that are being used but to the safety procedures, maintaining a high standard at all times:-

• PPE must be worn at all times
• Eye protection, hard hat, overalls, gloves, ear defenders and safety Footwear.
• Warning signs & barriers should be posted with warning notices
• The maximum working pressure for the equipment should not be exceeded at any time.
• Do not damage the hoses by excessive bending.

Do not attempt to release or disconnect any fittings whilst the system is pressurised.

• Pressurised systems should never be left unattended at any time.
